Sample-application stencil

§ A — DESCRIPTION

Description

The stencil supports two workflows:

  1. Pencil marking of the plate. The lower or upper row of holes defines the start line and the application points — the operator traces them with a pencil and then applies the sample with a capillary or microsyringe.
  2. Direct application through the hole. A capillary or syringe passes through the stencil hole, fixing the sample position relative to the plate edge and to the other samples on the plate.

The geometry is tuned to standard Sorbfil plates: lower row 10 mm from the edge, upper row 15 mm, end holes 10 mm from the right and left edges, 5 mm pitch between holes in a row.
