§ A — DESCRIPTION

Description

The microsyringe is the workhorse of metered sample application in TLC. Unlike a capillary it dispenses a precisely measured volume with single-percent reproducibility, which makes it the right tool for standards work under quantitative densitometry. Used together with the Sorbfil manual applicator and the МШ-10 syringe-with-guide, it pins the application position on the plate.

Supplied in Russian-made sizes covering 1–50 μL — the right volume depends on the target mass concentration of analyte and the desired spot size.
