Sorbent
Wide-pore silica gel in narrow fractions: 5–17 µm for analytical plates, 8–12 µm for high-performance ones.
01 — ABOUT
OOO IMID is a Russian manufacturer of instruments and consumables for thin-layer chromatography. Its TLC instruments are entered into the State Register of Measuring Instruments, and the product line is produced in-house in Krasnodar. It serves pharma, forensic, food-control and academic laboratories across Russia.
02 — DENSITOGRAM · COMPANY TIMELINE
A densitogram is a recording of zone intensity along the separation axis of a TLC plate. Here the abscissa is time; the peaks are events that shaped the industry and the company. From M.S. Tswett's discovery in Russia to today's production cycle in Krasnodar.
03 — HOW A PLATE IS MADE
Five stages — from sorbent preparation to batch labelling. Every batch is checked before release, and every pack ships with a passport.
Wide-pore silica gel in narrow fractions: 5–17 µm for analytical plates, 8–12 µm for high-performance ones.
A silica-gel layer with a binder is applied onto an aluminium-foil or polymer-film (PET) substrate: 90–120 µm on analytical plates, 80–100 µm on high-performance ones.
Layer is dried and activated at controlled temperature — ready for separation.
Plates from the batch are checked for layer thickness — ±5 µm tolerance — and for separation quality.
Plates are packed 50 to a box with a passport; the pack is labelled with the TU and batch numbers.
