Glook water-sensitive paste for fuels and lubricants
Low-toxicity indicator paste for detecting bottom water in petroleum products — gasoline, kerosene, diesel, gas condensate, oils, crude oil, aromatic solvents. On contact with water (fresh or saline) the paste turns from light grey / light brown to bright crimson.

§ A — DESCRIPTION
Description
A thin layer of the paste is applied to the lower end of a dipstick, which is then lowered into the storage tank. At the fuel / water interface the paste turns bright crimson; the height of the coloured zone on the dipstick corresponds to the level of bottom water in the vessel.
Compatible media. Benzene, toluene, xylene, gasoline, kerosene, gas condensate, diesel, various oils, crude oil, and heavy petroleum products preheated to 40–50 °C.
Certification. The paste is not subject to mandatory certification by Gosstandart.
Packaging and storage. Supplied in 60 g portions; shelf life 3 years.
