01TLC plates
Sorbfil plates for substance analysis by thin-layer chromatography. High-efficiency grade on a polymeric (PET) film substrate with an F254 fluorescent indicator: an 80–100 μm layer of fractionated wide-pore silica gel containing the luminophor. The combination of an 8–12 μm fraction and 254 nm quenching gives compact dark spots against a bright green background; the PET film cuts with scissors.
§ A — DESCRIPTION
Plates are supplied in packs of 50 with a passport per pack. Shelf life is 5 years from the date of manufacture when stored in original packaging at room temperature, away from aggressive vapours and gases. Plates stored for more than 1 year must be activated before use.
Sorbent layer thickness tolerance is ±5 μm across a single plate.
